Promoting peace: Inter-college drama contest on April 19

LAHORE: To promote peace and harmony in society, the Punjab Information Department will organise an inter-college drama competition later this month.

All leading universities of the province with an active dramatic society have been invited to take part in the competition, which is scheduled to be held on April 19 and 20.

Nine universities including the Government College University Lahore, Forman Christian College University, Lahore College for Women University, National College of Arts, University of Engineering and Technology, Punjab University, Sargodha University and University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences have confirmed their participation in the event.

Several other universities are likely to sign up for participating in the inter-college drama competition. Many drama topics aiming at promoting peace and harmony in society have been selected for the competition.
