Sharjeel donates gold crowns to Chhipa

The former provincial minister is facing several charges of monetary misappropriation and corruption

PPP leader Sharjeel Inam Memon has donated the two gold crowns presented to him on his return from abroad to Chhipa Welfare.

Chief of the welfare organisation Ramzan Chhipa received the crowns at a local hospital from Memon in the presence of his son Rawal Sharjeel and others.

Ramzan said he was thankful to Memon for the trust he had shown in his welfare organization. He prayed for the recovery of Memon and well-being of his family.

The crowns were presented to him by a local PPP leader and a group of activists who called themselves Janisaran-e-Benazir.

Memon concluded his almost two years long self-imposed exile and returned to Pakistan recently. He was arrested at Islamabad Airport and taken to a NAB office, where he was later released after verification of his bail before arrest orders and written undertaking from his lawyer that he will comply with authorities orders.
