Industrialists protest against RGST in Faisalabad

Workers and owners took out rallies at the Ghanta Ghar Chowk as they chanted slogans against the government.

FAISALABAD: Factory owners and workers continued their protest against the Reformed General Sales Tax (RGST) on industrial sector for the sixth day on Thursday.

Workers and owners took out rallies at the Ghanta Ghar Chowk and held banners as they chanted slogans against the government.

The Sizing industry is already on strike and the owners of the power loom have joined in too. They have said that they will start their strike tomorrow.

The protesters have set up a camp at the Ghanta Ghar Chowk and have asked the government to review its decision of imposing the RGST on industries.
