Hindu temple sealed in Mirpurkhas

HYDERABAD: A temple of Sant Narayan in Tando Jan Muhammad area of Mirpurkhas was sealed Tuesday night as the police prevented a violent clash between two groups of the Hindu community over the temple's control. A police contingent led by Assistant Commissioner Dighri Sanaullah Sadar and DSP Ayub Dars sealed the temple. Maharaj Garesh Kumar and Seth Vashu Mal, representing one of the groups, said they will take the matter of the temple's control to the court. The group, represented by Seth Durga Prashad, Ghansham Das and Mukhi Lachman Das, objected to shutting down the place of worship.
