Faryal Talpur reaffirms solidarity with Kashmiris
.

PPP Women's Wing President Faryal Talpur on Tuesday said that February 5 symbolises Pakistan's unwavering commitment, moral responsibility and historic bond with the Kashmiri people, reiterating that Islamabad would not allow them to be deprived of their legitimate rights.
In a message issued on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, she said that every Pakistani, particularly women, stood shoulder to shoulder with the Kashmiri people and would continue to support their just struggle.
She said the sacrifices and resistance of the Kashmiri people had neither been forgotten nor would ever be ignored.
Talpur said the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) continued to face state oppression, repression and gross violations of human rights. She said the ongoing atrocities against unarmed civilians, including women, children and the elderly, posed serious questions for the conscience of the international community.
She said that extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, demolition of homes, curbs on freedom of expression and the humiliation of women in IIOJK were in blatant violation of international law, human values and United Nations resolutions.
The PPP leader said that the silence of the international community over the alleged atrocities by India was further emboldening such actions.
