Can you imagine why?

Other than its clothing and accessories, the renowned international designer house Marc Jacobs is known for unconventional spokesmodels. Instead of picking the usual high-fashion faces we've grown used to seeing, the brand opts for individual celebrities such as Missy Elliot, Winona Ryder and Debi Mazar.

Also amongst its current list of spokespersons is Frances Bean Cobain, the 24-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, who had made quite an entry by doing something her unconventional parents would love: she graffitied her own Marc Jacobs billboard, reported People magazine.

Yup, you read that right. Frances' spring 2017 advertising campaign for Marc Jacobs is located directly above its flagship store in Los Angeles and shows her modelling a babydoll dress in signature minimalistic design.

However, something seems to have come over Frances as she suddenly decided to deface her own billboard! According to her friend and fellow “bandit” Abreea Loren, Frances had wanted to “scale a building and graffiti my own billboard.”

This designer dedicated an entire fashion show to anti-Trump protest

Obviously, her friends were on board. The group of youngsters painted over Frances' face in the ad, added a sheriff’s badge sticker to  and spray painted the words “Witch, witch, she’s a witch” across it.

And guess what? The Marc Jacobs team was totally in on this! The designers even had a video edited to show off the process and advertised the new look on social media.

What do you think of this latest gimmick? Too far?
