LAHORE: A lawyer thrashed a man on way to court after they accidentally collided with each other and the lawyer’s mobile phone fell on the ground. Witnesses said Muhammad Javed, a barrister, was coming from court while the victim Asghar was heading to the court to attend his brother’s court proceedings. Asghar’s hand hit the lawyer’s hand and his cellphone fell on the ground, they said. In a fit of anger, the lawyer started shouting abuses. While the man tendered his apology, the lawyer continued using abusive language against him. The litigant also responded in the same manner, leading to a scuffle between the two.
