To The Ballots: District bar polls in Hazara division

ABBOTTABAD: The fraternity of the black coats will cast ballots to select their erepresentatives in the district bars of the Hazara division today. Lawyers activities has gained momentum for District Bar Association (DBA) Abbottabad, Haripur and Mansehra elections for year 2017-18 that would be held on Saturday, March 25. Scrutiny process of DBA Abbottabad election has been completed where Finance Secretary Aman Ayub and four executive members were elected unopposed while four candidates for president, two each for vice president, general secretary and library secretary would try their luck for these offices respectively. In Mansehra, secretary finance, secretary bar club and vice president DBA Mansehra have been elected unopposed while the remaining contenders would contest elections. Secretary library and vice president for Haripur have been elected unopposed and the rest of the seats were still up for grab. According to the DBA election committee notification, the election would be conducted on March 25, from 8am to 5pm in all three districts respectively.
