Minister says participation of foreign troops reinforces the bond of friendship

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Thursday said that 77th Pakistan Day celebrations were a manifestation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s vision for a Pakistan that is an integrated regional partner developing meaningful, sustainable and mutually beneficial ties with its neighbours.

She said that participation of China, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and South Africa in the 23rd March parade reinforces the bond of mutual friendship and cooperation in areas of security and defence whilst strengthening  and driving development and prosperity of our peoples, she asserted.

The shared goals and objectives of our great nations coupled with the herioc and gallant campaign of Zarb-e-Azab led by our brave armed forces, under the able leadership of the PM Nawaz signals the defeat of the forces whose objective was to isolate Pakistan.

The minister of state said that Pakistan Day parade was also a reflection of national unity and brotherhood, as our soldiers infused a new spirit of patriotism among the nation.

“Operations Zarb-e-Azb and Radd-ul-Fasad have marganilised the terrorists and has created an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity in the country,” she stated.

Marriyum Aurangzeb extended her heartiest congratulations to the Pakistani armed forces as well as visiting military delegations from the friendly countries for holding a magnificent parade to celebrating Pakistan Day.
