MULTAN: At least 9,887 automatic meter readers have been installed in the city for collecting consumption data and address the overbilling issues.

This was said by Multan Electric Power Company Suprintendent Engineer Muhammad Akram Bhatti on Wednesday.

He said meters were installed in three phase connections. He said, “By using this technology, data is automatically transferred to a central database for billing, troubleshooting, and analyzing.”
