Feud with husband: Woman attempts self-immolation in Larkana

The woman is in critical condition and has received 80% burn injuries

SUKKUR: Disappointed with the negative attitude of her husband, a woman tried to set herself on fire Tuesday night in Larkana.

The woman, who is a resident of Allahabad Muhalla, Larkana, set herself on fire Tuesday night. She was taken to Chandka Medical College Hospital, Larkana, where the doctors said she has received 80% burn injuries and the next 36 hours are critical for her.



She was referred to a hospital in Karachi in a critical condition Wednesday morning. She is a mother of five children and was living with her parents for the last eight months after having differences with her husband.

She had also filed a divorce application in the district and sessions court of Larkana, which was under process. The police are investigating the case. Our correspondent
