Accident: Stray kite-string injures man

A police team arrived at the spot, collected forensic evidence and recorded statements of the eye-witnesses

LAHORE: A 22-year-old man was injured when a kite-string slit his throat in Shera Kot on Saturday.

Police said Abdul Rauf was travelling on his motorcycle when a stray kite-string cut his throat near Outfall Road. The victim was admitted to the Ganga Ram Hospital.

A police team arrived at the spot, collected forensic evidence and recorded statements of the eye-witnesses. Later a case (FIR 235/17) under Section 324 (attempt to murder) was registered against unidentified suspects.
