Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri asks IG police to submit a report on the kidnapping

QUETTA: Balochistan higher education secretary Abdullah Jan was abducted from Quetta's Wahdat Colony on Wednesday.

Jan's son Mohammad Attiuqe said his father was on his way to work when unidentified armed men in a white Toyota Vitz kidnapped him near his house in Wahdat Colony 3rd stop Brewery Road area of Quetta.

A year after abduction, child reunited with mother

Jan was kidnapped along with his driver. However, the abductors released the driver near Sabzal Road area and drove off to an unknown location, said DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Chema.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri expressed concern over the abduction and tasked the IG police of the province to take action for his recovery and submit a report on the kidnapping case.

No group has claimed responsibility for the abduction so far.
