The Federal Anti-corruption court on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Amin Qasim Dada, the main accused in the National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) scam case.

Former NICL chairman, Ayaz Khan Niazi did not appear before the court.

The superintendent of Central Jail presented a report stating that Niazi could not appear before court due to some illness, after which the court ordered that he be presented in the next hearing.

A day earlier, in the same case, a magistrate court in Lahore had granted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) a three-day physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leader Moonis Elahi.
