International Women’s Day: ‘Women have made great achievements’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani women while upholding their ideological character have struggled a lot during the last few decades and also made excellent achievements, said President Mamnoon Hussain. In a statement on the International Women’s Day the President highlighted women advancement in every segment of life during the last few decades in Pakistan. He also expressed hope that the government, civil society and women themselves would continue to strive for ending gender discrimination. The president said, “I hope that in the coming years, Pakistani women will bring good name for the country,”
