MULTAN: Multan Corps Commander Lt Gen Sarfaraz Sattar chaired a meeting to review the progress of the ongoing activities for census in South Punjab on Tuesday. On the occasion, Sarfaraz expressed satisfaction on the preparations made by the civil administration for conducting census. He directed the civil and military officers to keep close coordination with the armed forces to ensure security and credibility during the census operation. The participating officer briefed him about the arrangements made by respective departments in this regard. They apprised the corps commander about the necessary preparations, including logistic support, procurement of hardware and appointment of field staff for census operation.
