Man injured by kite string

NAWABSHAH/ RAWALPINDI: A man was injured when a stray kite string cut his throat near Rahimabad in the Chaklala Cantonment area, rescue officials said on Saturday.

According to available information, 40-year-old Waheed Iqbal was travelling on his motorcycle on the Rahimabad flyover, when a stray kite string cut his throat deeply.

Hussain was held in Ghaziabad where he was later buried. Hussain’s throat had been slit by a stray kite string on Friday evening when he was returning home from office on 6th Road Flyover. He used to work as a peon at Allama Iqbal Open University and had two children.
