Convicted : Court sentences two on rape charges

MANSEHRA: A judge in Mansehra convicted two men on Friday for raping a 16-year old boy. Additional Session Judge IV Mansehra Sumaira Wali handed down seven years rigorous imprisonment and Rs70,000 fine to Tahir Khan and five years rigorous imprisonment and Rs50,000 fine to Iftikhar Khan. The complainant was represented by Yasir Mustafa Advocate. According to police record, Tahir Khan and Iftikhar Khan from village Bafa had kidnapped the victim and took him to house in village Kotkay, Mansehra in 2012, where they raped the boy and fled. However after registration of criminal case and medical report, the accused were arrested and sentenced after  almost five years.
