Facebook owned photo sharing app Instagram has rolled out a long-awaited feature that will now allow users to share multiple photos and videos in a single post.

“With this update, you no longer have to choose the single best photo or video from an experience you want to remember. Now, you can combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post and swipe through to see them all,” reads a statement on Instagram’s blog.

Instagram now lets users like comments

The feature had long been available to advertisers and has now been rolled out to all Instagram users.

The feature allows user to select up to 10 pictures or videos that can be rearranged simply by a tap-and-hold gesture. Users can also apply filters to all pictures at once or can edit one picture at a time.

Posts that have more than one picture or video will feature an album icon at the bottom right on users’ profile grid whereas posts in feed will feature blue dots at the bottom to let users know they can swipe to see more.

The update is now available as part of Instagram version 10.9 for iOS and Android users.
