KARACHI: A young girl was shot dead inside her house in Banaras Colony allegedly by her brother. The police reached the house following the shooting. S* was apparently shot by her brother, Shaheen Khan, who managed to escape after shooting her, said SITE police station SHO Ghulam Hussain Korai. According to SITE police, S* was shot inside her house and she died immediately. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police have taken the deceased’s father, Saleem Khan, for questioning as the police suspect that the brother killed the sister apparently in the name of ‘honour’. The police will determine the motive once they have caught the accused brother, who is at large.
