More fatalities: Charing Cross blast death toll now 15

The man suffered serious injuries in the blast, which killed 13 people on the spot and left dozens more injured

LAHORE: Another injured victim of the Charing Cross suicide bombing on Mall Road died at the Sir Ganga Raam Hospital on Friday, bringing the death toll to 15 after four days. Sources at the hospital said the victim named Ali Raza was a protester at the demonstration called by chemists and medical store owners against the recent amendments in drugs law. The man suffered serious injuries in the blast on Monday, which killed 13 people on the spot and left dozens more injured. Another victim admitted at Ganga Ram Hospital had succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday. Ali, a resident of Ferozpur Road, remained admitted to the intensive care unit of Ganga Raam Hospital for three days before he died. His body was handed over to his heirs for burial.
