LAHORE: Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) has said 34% construction work of southern loop-1 (SL-1) and southern loop-2 (SL-2) of the southern and western loops of Ring Road has been completed, while land for SL-3 would be acquired soon.

Lahore Division Commissioner and Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) Chairperson Abdullah Khan Sumbal revealed this during a meeting with a delegation of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Wednesday.

The LRRA chairman said the contractor of SL-1 and SL-2, FWO, was engaged in construction work under a public-private partnership on build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis. He said the contract of SL-3 was yet to be awarded on the public-private partnership mode and eight kilometres long SL-3 would link Adda Plot (Raiwind Road) with Multan Road to complete the ring road around Lahore.
