He was appointed as SSP Operations Lahore on February 9 this year, just four days before his martyrdom

LAHORE: DIG Ahmad Mobeen, who was born in 1971, joined the Police Service of Pakistan as an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in 1996.

He belonged to the CSP officers’ cadre and served in Islamabad, Okara, Pakpattan, Kasur and Lahore, besides serving as AIG Admin and Security, AIG Operations in the Central Police Office, Punjab, Lahore. He was appointed as the DIG Traffic Lahore on November 24 last year.

SSP Operations Zahid Mehmood was born in 1973 and joined Police Service of Pakistan as an ASP in 2005. He also belonged to the CSP cadre. He served in Mansehra, Swat, Peshawar, Abbotabbad, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Faisalabad and Rajanpur, before serving as an SSP Discipline& Accountability and SSP VVIP Security in Lahore.

He was appointed as SSP Operations Lahore on February 9 this year, just four days before his martyrdom.

Ameen. The nation will never forget the sacrifices of these brave men who defend Pakistan from anti state agencies operating from India and Afghanistan.
