A privilege motion was submitted in the Sindh Assembly on Monday against Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for his remarks against leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).

The motion was presented by PPP MPA Imran Leghari who also delivered a speech defending the Sindhi culture.

He said Nisar degraded the Sindhi culture in his Sunday's news conference in Islamabad.

Leghari demanded the House summon the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader, on which the speaker referred the resolution to the committee on rules and procedures.
