KARACHI: A delegation from ITOCHU Corporation, Japan visited Trade Development Authority Pakistan (TDAP) and had a meeting with TDAP secretary. The delegation was headed by ITOCHU Corporation general manager Toru Hisabayashi. During the meeting, the GM gave a detailed presentation about textile revolution, stable cotton supply and diversification of textile products. They suggested production of longer stable fiber to be able to produce fine yarn. The fine yarn can produce many varieties of fabric to diversify the garment as currently Pakistan is only producing short staple length cotton.
