India bus accident kills 28 people

NEW DEHLI: Twenty eight people were killed in central India after the bus touched a high voltage wire and caught fire on Friday.

A police official said that the accident occurred on Friday in Mandla district in Madhya Pradesh state.

It is the second such accident in India in recent days.

At least 15 people were killed in eastern Bihar state on Thursday when the truck they were riding in touched a high voltage wire.
