Indian firing leaves one civilian injured

This was the second incident of firing along the LoC by Indian troops in two straight days

RAWALPINDI: One person was injured on Tuesday in unprovoked firing by Indian troops in the Khoiratta sector of the Line of Control. Pakistani troops befittingly responded to the Indian firing.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), 25-year-old labourer Ashfaq, from the village of Tain, was wounded due to the Indian firing. He was evacuated to the civil hospital.

This was the second incident of firing along the LoC by Indian troops in two straight days. On Monday, the military’s media wing said Indian troops had resorted to unprovoked firing at Zafarwal sector along the Working Boundary.
