Mahira, SRK's new song is making the wait for Raees even harder

As Mahira and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees continues to break Box Office records, the makers of the film have released a new song which has made the wait even harder for Pakistanis.

The song Halka Halka which had to be edited out of the film to keep the running time short was released on Sunday night as promised by the Raees team during their success celebrations.



Sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Goshal and penned by Javed Akhtar, the song is a breath of fresh air and the chemistry between Mahira and SRK will leave you reeling. The romantic number complete with a rain scene gives a sneak peek into the film and shows SRK wooing Mahira in the streets of India’s Gujrat.

Although the two actors already had us swooning with their chemistry in Udi Udi Jaye and Zaalima, this song has cemented that Mahira and SRK are by far the best on-screen couple after Madhuri and the King of Bollywood.


The Rahul Dholakia directorial which marks Mahira’s Bollywood debut is yet to release in Pakistan. The actor is playing the role of SRK’s love interest in the film while King Khan is playing the role of a Gujarati bootlegger, Raees Alam. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
