Chinese company agrees to lay railway tracks in K-P

The railway tracks, if completed, will bring in trade and business activities for the progress of the province

A Chinese company has shown interests and agreed to lay railway tracks in several parts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), Radio Pakistan reported.

Official sources privy to the matter said that the structure will include railway lines to connect Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) with Chitral, DI Khan with Kohat, and Mardan with Siadu Sharif.

The railway tracks, if completed, will bring in trade and business activities for the progress of the province, the sources further said.

israr | 7 years ago | Reply MashaAllah good deal but no details given by tribune :) anyway i think mardan to saidu sharif is good tourism attraction also the chitral to gilgit means goods and passenger trains with alternate day service will mean you can make huge profits and with circular railway connecting mardan with peshawar swat to mardan connection is great same goes with dik to kohat means dik to phw via kohat so all we need is a little touch between gilgit to kohat by road and then get the goods on the train to get the goods to dik, i hope this goes through karak so the oil can be transported to kohat as well and to dik
