ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested five people in possession of more than eight kilograms of hashish and about 370 grams of heroine from different parts of the city, an official said on Thursday.
A woman, Nasreen Bibi, carrying more than 6 kilograms of Hashish and 370 grams of heroine was arrested near Tarnol. During interrogation she is said to have told the police that she was smuggling drugs from Peshawar to Rawalpindi. “We have registered a case,” a police officer told this correspondent.
Four other individuals in possession of around two kilograms of hashish were also arrested near here on Thrusday. Nasir Khan was arrested from Tarnol, Najibullah from Sabzi Mandi, while Marjan Syed and Imran Ali were arrested from the Industrial Area.
