The government announced Tuesday evening a change in petroleum prices for the next two weeks.

According to Express News, price of petrol and diesel was increased by Rs2.25 and Rs2.26 per litre respectively. However, a notification in this regard was not issued until the filing of this report.

Prices of petroleum products set to rise by 38.6 per cent

The tariff for light speed diesel and kerosene oil remained unchanged.

The Finance ministry received a summary from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Monday that recommended the upward revision in oil prices.
