A two-day “TCS Inter-School Science Fair 2011 and Education EXPO” concluded at National Library on Thursday.
The fair, organised by The City School, featured science students presenting their projects.
The initiative provided the students with an opportunity to showcase their talent
by displaying models
within the categories of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and IT.
The excited students, while talking to APP, said the government should invest in science education particularly at school levels.
The projects displayed by the students were related to solar energy, wind energy, biomedical sciences, earth crests and rocks, wind energy and organic chemistry.
Popular among the students was the Academia Yard, which had representatives of various local and foreign higher education institutes providing information on admissions.
Emaad Raja, the event organiser, said the main objectives of the fair were to develop practical scientific approach and promote a spirit of competition and creativity among students to further enhance their talent.
