Energy projects with Germany: Shehbaz vows to increase cooperation

Shehbaz communicated with delegates in the German language and his proficiency was highly appreciated

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the Behnhard Stable, CEO of German company Lahmeyer International to discuss cooperation in the energy sector. Shehbaz communicated with delegates in the German language and his proficiency was highly appreciated. While talking to the delegates about energy sector development in Pakistan, CM Shehbaz said along with conventional energy production, alternative procedures were also adopted to fulfill the country’s needs. “Tedious efforts in have been made for the early completion of energy projects in Punjab. Completion of power projects in Punjab will eliminate the load shedding problem soon.”  Shahbaz also asked the German company to work on small dams and irrigation projects in the Potohar region. The German delegates expressed satisfaction over the cooperation with the Punjab government for future projects.
