What has been your most memorable collection till date?

It’s one that is yet to come.

What is your favourite perfume?

Cerruti 1881.

Would you rather lick peanut butter off a hobos feet or be stuck in a jail with a lion?

Peanut butter, any day! Actually, it depends on my mood — if I want to die then I would choose to be in a room with a lion.



What is the last photo in your camera roll?

It is of a Mercedes that I am thinking of buying.

What is the one word that should be banned?

‘Ban’.

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I cannot be restricted to just one thing. I am a big foodie; I need to be fed.

Who is the one person you would love to design for?

Queen Rania.



What is the last thing you do before bed?

I say my prayers or I spend time with my children — sometimes both.

Who is the one person you would like to work with, that you have not already?

Giorgio Armani.

How do you take your tea or coffee?

Black, which is how it’s supposed to be.



What are your three, all-time favourite songs?

Dream On by Aerosmith, Tum Aik Ghorak Dhanda Ho by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and My Way by Frank Sinatra.

What is the one country you want to visit and why?

Italy, because I have to meet Giorgio Armani before he dies.

What is the last book you read?

I just finished Superfreakanomics, and I am about to start, History of God by Karen Armstrong.

What is your dream vacation?

Anywhere where my family is chilling, and is also being taken care of.



What are three reasons why one should tune into your radio show?

It has got great music! There is very little conversation, but great music.

What is your favourite TV show?

Suits, The Big Bang Theory and House.

Caramel popcorn or salted popcorn?

That depends on my mood, but I usually prefer salted.

What did you want to be as a child?

A businessman.



What is a hobby you have recently picked up?

I don’t have time for hobbies, but my wife has gotten me a cello, so I plan on learning how to play it soon.

Can you say anything in another language?

I can speak a bit of French, and also, a bit of German and Arabic as I studied it growing up. I can hold 20 per cent of the conversation in these languages.
