KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Karachi chapter has announced a thank you Nawaz Sharif rally to be held in Karachi on January 28 to show gratitude for the uplift projects given to the city by the federal government. PML-N leader Senator Nehal Hashmi addressed a press conference at Muslim League House and said the PML-N has served Karachi by giving it mega projects, adding that no other political party has served the city to this extent. He criticised the provincial and city governments, saying there is nothing by the name of government in Karachi. He said everyone is busy in corruption and kickbacks and no one is concerned about the issues of the city. He said Karachi has become a big garbage dump. Hashmi claimed traffic jams, poor public transport and other civic issues have perturbed residents and advised the Pakistan Peoples Party to take care of its home province before venturing towards politics in Punjab.
