ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has conducted balloting for alternative plots in lieu of deleted plots of Sector I-11. Out of a total of 187, some 85 affected from the deleted plots were allotted alternate plots through paper balloting in the presence of CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz at the Jinnah Convention Centre on Thursday. The plots which were turned out to be on waterways, graveyard, ditches, road crossings, and under high electric transmission lines were deemed deleted plots. Sector I-11 was established by the authority in 1985 primarily for people falling in the low-income bracket. The sector consists of small plots measuring 25 by 40 feet and 25 by 50 feet.
