LAHORE: The Punjab Aids Control Programme (PACP) organised a training session for doctors and paramedical staff on HIV/AIDS case detection, treatment and counselling at District Headquarters Hospital Nankana Sahib on Thursday. The training covered areas like overview of HIV infection, epidemiology of HIV, transmission dynamics, transmission from mother to children, post-exposure prophylaxis and referral mechanism.

Medical superintendents, surgical specialists, paediatricians, pathologists, gynecologists and dentists attended the training.
