Documents please: 571 bikes, 31 vehicles impounded during last 24 hours

Following in the directives, police started general hold up and checking in various areas

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police on Wednesday impounded 571 motorcycles and 31 other vehicles across the city for driving without original documents.

The capital police went into overdrive on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Islamabad Sajid Kiani to increase vigilance in the city.

Following in the directives, police started general hold up and checking in various areas.

During this drive, police impounded 571 bikes as well as 31 vehicles being driven without documents. Likewise, search operation was also conducted in several of the city and 45 suspects were also held who are being investigated further.

Meanwhile, CIA police arrested two suspects Majid Sultan and Qasirur Rehman and recovered five stolen mobiles from their possession.

Tarnol police arrested two accused Sajid and Mudssar and recovered 105 grammes of heroin from their possession.
