The centers will be set up in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore divisions. Presiding over a meeting to review the performance of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab here on Wednesday, Sharif said Pakistani nationals who have settled abroad are ambassadors of the country and the resolution of their problems is the responsibility of the government. He said the Punjab government has set up an independent commission to resolve problems of overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis. He added the commission was taking all-out measures to resolve the problems of overseas Pakistanis and performance of the commission was satisfactory. He said a one-window facility would be available at facilitation centres.
Also, an amount of Rs100 million was approved to set up a cabinet committee which will be authorised take decisions for the promotion of sports.
This was announced by Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a meeting with officials of the Sports Board of Punjab on Wednesday.
