Last rites: Sports minister's mother laid to rest
The family traditions did not allow the deceased's name to be revealed

The wife of late Sardar Ghulam Muhammad Khan Mahar and mother of Sindh sports minister Muhammad Bux Mahar was laid to rest in Khangarh on Wednesday morning. The chief minister also reached Khangarh to condole with the family. Sardar Ghulam's wife died on Tuesday and was laid to rest in the family's graveyard in Khangarh, district Ghotki, on Wednesday morning. MNA Sardar Ali Gohar Mahar, former Sindh chief minister Ali Muhammad Mahar, Ali Nawaz alias Raja Mahar and other family members as well as a large number of local residents attended her last rites. Later, CM Murad Ali Shah along with acting Sindh governor Agha Siraj Durrani, education minister Jam Mehtab Dahar and transport minister Nasir Hussain Shah reached Khangarh to offer their condolences. The family traditions did not allow the deceased's name to be revealed.
