Discussion: The future of telecom in Pakistan

LAHORE: To impart practical knowledge of the industry, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) organised a session on ‘Opportunities in Telecom Industry’ at its campus on Tuesday.

The discussion was organised by the LCWU Centre for Career Counselling and Job Placement.

Wateen Telecom CEO Rizwan Tiwana was invited to speak to students and talked about future opportunities for women in Pakistan and the future of telecom market, gender balance in telecommunication operators and the key skills to be successful in the telecommunication market.

The talk was followed by a question and answer session. Tiwana has over 19 years of diverse experience in the telecom industry, including leading large scale operations and global network vendors in different countries of the world.
