SUKKUR: An elderly woman was killed during a domestic dispute in Raman Loond village, situated within the limits of the Khanpur Mahar police station in Ghotki district. On Sunday morning, an argument broke out between two brothers, identified as Tawakal Loond and Bashir Loond, over the ownership of a piece of land. After a heated exchange of words, the two men attacked each other with wooden sticks. Their elderly aunt, Mai Samani, wife of Jumo Loond, was injured as she intervened in an attempt to solve the argument. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Upon information, the Khanpur Mahar SHO rushed to the scene and shifted the body to Ghotki hospital for post-mortem. He told journalists that the family doesn’t want to register a case and, therefore, he has informed the SSP for further guidance.
