After intense competition, the Aga Khan University bagged the Great Debate 2016.
The final of the second declamation contest, organised by the British High Commission, was held in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Great Debate is a debating competition for university students. In the final, 10 semifinalists from Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Gilgit spoke for and against topics relating to the future of Pakistan.
After three rounds, Taha Ahmed from the Aga Khan University was adjudged to be the winner while Noor Tauqeer from Karachi University was the runners-up.
