Kandahar Fatalities: Sartaj, Fatemi condole with UAE
Ministers strongly condemned the terrorist attack and claim that they were deeply saddened over the tragic incident
ISLAMABAD:
Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi visited the United Arab Emirates Embassy on Friday to express condolences over the killing of five Emirati diplomats in a bomb attack in Kandahar, on Wednesday. According to a Foreign Office statement, Sartaj and Fatemi signed the condolence book placed in the embassy. They strongly condemned the terrorist attack and noted that the government and people of Pakistan were deeply saddened over the tragic incident. While offering their condolences and prayers for the repose of the departed souls, they also prayed for the early recovery of Ambassador Juma Mohammad Abdullah al Kaabi. They also prayed to Allah for granting solace to the bereaved families. They said Pakistan stands shoulder to shoulder with UAE in this hour of grief.
