Plan devised: Action planned against use of drugs in schools

Foolproof security arrangements should be ensured in educational institutes throughout the district

RAHIM YAR KHAN: Crackdown will be initiated against those involved in use of drugs and smoking in educational institutions, including schools while ban on such products will be implemented immediately.

This was said by Rahim Yar Khan Deputy Commissioner Jameel Ahmad Jameel while addressing a video link conference with other officials on Friday. Jameel said best services should be provided to the citizens visiting the land record centres for attaining ownership deed and other legal documents. He added cases pertaining to land should be computerised and all hurdles should be removed.

He said foolproof security arrangements should be ensured in educational institutes throughout the district, while surprise visits should be paid to hospitals to monitor the performance of doctors and maintain surveillance.
