Official statement: Police term allegations baseless

Investigation Officer of the case Abdul Razaq said, “The allegations of gang-rape and abduction are baseless"

FAISALABAD: Investigation Officer of the case Abdul Razaq told The Express Tribune, “The allegations of gang-rape and abduction are baseless.”

He added the victim married accused Sajjad on her own will. “The girl also furnished a marriage certificate and statement in the court in which she testified that she has contracted the marriage on her own will,” he pointed out.
