Quetta observes shutter down

KARACHI: A complete shutter down strike was observed in Quetta after a call was issued by the Anjumn-e-Tajiraan to protest target killings, kidnapping for ransom and loadshedding on Thursday.

Along with the shutterdown strike, the anjuman e tajiraan have also blocked the national highways, including the Karachi to Quetta, and Quetta to Sibi highways.

Moreover, hardly any vehicles can be spotted on major roads of the city. All government and private educational institutions in the city are also closed.
