A crocodile from Nara Canal had made his way into the village but the villagers caught hold of the animal and tied it to a tree. Later, they informed the wildlife department.
A team reached the spot and released the crocodile back into the Nara Canal. According to officials, the crocodile measured 8.3 feet and weighed around 120 kilogrammes.
There are more than 500 crocodiles in the Nara canal, which is said to be one of the biggest off taking canals of Sukkur Barrage, claimed wildlife officials. Sometimes, these crocodiles come out of the canal to bask in the sun or hunt for food; this is especially very common during winters.
