No room for ‘misconduct’: Action taken against two civil judges    

Inquiry officer had found the suspects guilty of the charges and recommended their compulsory retirement

KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) took action on Tuesday against two senior civil judges over misconduct. According to an official notification, the penalty of compulsory retirement was imposed on senior civil judge, Saleem Qambrani. The inquiry officer had found him guilty of the charges and recommended his compulsory retirement. According to another notification, senior civil judge and judicial magistrate Muhammad Afzal Roshan was dismissed from service with immediate effect as the inquiry officer also found him guilty of the allegations. Meanwhile, Roshan was absent during a personal hearing that was arranged to issue a show-cause notice.
