‘HEC committed to improving quality of higher education’

The HEC chairman offered his support for the development of the university

New University of Punjab Vice Chancellor Zafar Moeen Nasar met HEC Chairman Mukhtar Ahmed at the university to discuss how to catalyse research in the country, said a press release on Monday.

Ahmed welcomed the new vice chancellor and hoped that under his leadership, the university would improve the standards of academics and research.

The HEC chairman offered his support for the development of the university.

HEC recommends action against ‘plagiarising’ professor

Ahmed said that the HEC has considerably increased the budget for research and implored faculty members to focus on priority areas related to society and the country’s economic challenges.

“HEC is committed to ensuring equitable access to higher education without any compromise on quality,” he said.
